Maternity Cover – Early Years Tutor

We are looking for a qualified Early Years Tutor to cover materinty leave from January 2020.

The tutor will be responsible for delivering qualifications on ESFA funded programmes.

The ideal candidate will:

– have a background working within Early Years

– have a relevant teaching qualification eg PGCe / PTLLS / DTLLS

– have strong communication skills

– be able to work independently

– have an Early Years qualification to Level 3 or above

– have strong organisational skills

Responsibilities will include:

– Organise & planning delivery of teaching sessions

– Delivery of teaching sessions to young people (aged 16-23)

– Carrying out tutorials

– Working as part of a team.

Essential Qualifications:

– Early Years Level 3 qualification

– GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.

NB: Full DBS will be required on successful appointment

Office Administrator within Finance and Contracts Team 2 x vacancies

General Purpose

The Administrator will work as part of the administration team to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities.  This post will facilitate the efficient operation of the organisation together with other duties as directed by the Senior Finance Administrator, or members of the Senior Management Team commensurate with the post.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Vacancy

  • Inputting Learner application information to training contracts
  • Contact employers regarding contract data and supporting evidence,
  • Issuing completed contracts to employers
  • Setting up associated employer or learner folders
  • Input learner and employer data on our MIS system
  • Create and issue invoices for employers and candidates when required
  • Collate weekly signing in sheets for staff
  • Facilitate staff use of Bright HR (company staff HR portal) record annual leave and sickness, including running monthly reports for FD to assist payroll function
  • Follow up employment references for new employees
  • Updating DBS records and staff Self Cert and personal records
  • Recording and collating hourly paid staff records each month
  • Updating company records and handbooks with new policies.
  • Reconcile monthly petty cash records
  • Manage fob access control system for all employees and contractors
  • Applicant must hold Business Admin Level 3 or Equivalent, Must have experience of SAGE or similar invoicing software, experience of excel is essential for this role
  • Issue bursary forms to learners and collect travel and lunch receipts
  • Issue letters to learners and parents in relation to bursary applications
  • Monitor all learner attendance data and present to staff/management team at weekly or monthly intervals
  • Record learner placement hours and monitor absenteeism

Working Hours are 28 hours per week

Salary £13,104 PA

20 days Holiday (pro-rata to full time hours) + All Bank Holiday (8 days)
